(4) In this subsection: (A) The term “Indian tribe” has the meaning given that term in section 4 of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act ( 25 U.S.C. 5304 ). (B) The term “tribal government” means the recognized governing body of an Indian tribe. (C) The term “sacred site” has the meaning given that term in Executive Order No. 13007 , as in effect on the date of the enactment of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2020.
